How it works
Sign up once, then stop thinking about snow
Our whole service is built so you never have to make a call after a snowfall. You enrol for the winter season, and clearing happens on its own from there.
- 1
Request a quote
Send us your property address along with details of your front walkway and steps. Photos help, though they are not required.
- 2
Confirm your seasonal plan
We price your property based on its layout and confirm whether your neighbourhood still has room. You sign up for the complete winter season.
- 3
Service begins automatically
There is no need to call after a snowfall. Our team visits once accumulation reaches roughly 5 cm.
- 4
Extra support during major storms
On long storms we clear partway through and return once the snow has stopped, so access is never lost for a full day.
- 5
Add traction if you need it
Choose optional pet friendly sand for extra grip on the surfaces we clear. It can be added at any point in the season.
Measuring the 5 cm trigger
We use accumulation on the ground rather than a forecast total. Once roughly 5 cm, about two inches, has settled across the neighbourhood, the route is activated for everyone on it.
Snow does not fall evenly across the Capital Region, so a route in Barrhaven and a route in Hull can be triggered hours apart. That is intentional. It keeps clearing tied to what is actually on your walkway rather than what a single weather station reported.
Light dustings below the trigger are left alone. They tend to blow clear or melt off, and clearing them would slow the routes that need us most on a heavy day.
Reserve your spot before the first snowfall
Limited seasonal spots are available in each neighbourhood. Once a route is full we hold the rest on a waiting list.
